My sister-in-law's mom, Nancy, sent us this darling quilt to have machine quilted. I don't know if you can tell in the pictures just how big it is, but it is huge, a queen size. And she has made not only one, but three of these for her daughters!
This is the first of the three. Isn't is so pretty? Nancy did a wonderful job on this quilt. She decided she'd like an all over quilt pattern on this quilt as to not distract from the piecing. Laurie was able to do the quilting on this and she chose a pattern called Paisley Feather. You can see how pretty the design is in the picture below.
It turned out wonderful! I am sure this will be a keepsake that will be treasured for many years to come.
We were so glad that Nancy loved it! She gave us the next two quilts to get started on and I can't wait to show them off. Thanks Nancy for letting us machine quilt your beautiful quilt!
I'm linking up to Finish it up Friday at Crazy Mom Quilts. You need to go check this link up out. It's amazing how many great finishes are displayed each week, very motivating!
