This weeks Simply Retro Quilt Along pattern is called Framed and I'm sure you can see why. It's the perfect pattern to showcase some great prints you have been hoarding for a while or maybe even some that you recently found. I chose to do mine in a Halloween fabric line called Too Cute To Spook by Riley Blake. It's so cute and fun and perfect for this time of year especially since my kids and I all love Halloween!
Since this quilt is for Halloween, what better way to machine quilt it than with spider webs? You can see the quilting so well on the back side. That is one benefit of using minky, the quilting shows up great. Not to mention how cozy it is.
On one of the bottom blocks, I quilted a little haunted house in black thread so it would show up really great. I've been a bit obsessed with it all day. ;)
And here you can see it on the back. Kind of a fun little pop!
I'm considering this a finish even though I still need to get some binding on this quilt. Hopefully I can do that this weekend so we can start enjoying this quilt right away!
Only one more quilt left to do in Jana's quilt along. This has sure flown by fast. I am going to do a fun giveaway at the end of it so follow me on bloglovin' so you don't miss it!

Gorgeous quilt. I like that pattern too and wondered what it would look like in a different fabric. :-)
Wow! Great job! I love the fabric and the spider webs and the little stitched house! This is wonderful!
This Is So Terrific! I love the design for the prints, and the webs are perfect. What a COOL house on the purple. :D Very fun Halloween quilt.

What a fun quilt. I love how it shows off all of those fun fabrics. The spider web quilting and haunted house are terrific.
The quilting is simply outstanding. Beautiful webbing ... and on minky fabric?? I'm in awe!
This awesome! I use only minky on the back of my quilts!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE the spider webs and I will have to remember you for quilting. It is killing me on my machine!
