Are Valentine's festivities in full swing at your house? My boys and I stayed up way too late last night putting all of the finishing touches on their Valentine boxes and their classmates cards. As they were working, I told them about how in elementary my friends and I would look at all the cards to see if the boys we liked had written anything special. The next thing I knew, my 9 year old had a few secret messages himself. Ha! I love this day!
It's funny that even though I love the day of love, I don't have a whole lot of decorations and no pillows, so when Kimberly of Robot Mom Sews posted a cute tutorial for a heart pillow, I jumped on it. And I'm sure glad I did! Luckily I had all the fabric in my scrap buckets. I only had to grab some red polka dots for the back.
The screen printed pillow is a new purchase as well and I am loving it. My friend Shannon makes and sells the cutest decor. She's super crafty like that ;)
And since I was in the mode of quilting for Valentine's, I made my mom finally finish up this darling table runner that's been sitting in her WIP pile for far too long. So dang cute! Maybe I'll add one of these to my own (ever growing) list of projects...next year.
I'm linking up with Crazy Mom Quilts. Go check it out!
