WIP Wednesday- Puddle Jumping

My mom came over the other day while I was working on my new Puddle Jumping quilt and as soon as she saw it, she ran out to get fabric to start her own. We're like that - copying each others projects. One thing about us though, is we aren't usually drawn to the same fabrics. I like to tease that she has old lady taste but that's not really true. She is good at picking fabrics for sure, her projects always come together great. She's also the first person I ask for opinions from too. For this quilt she is using a bunch of different "civil war fabrics" and a cream colored background fabric. My whole quilt is from the "So Happy Together" line by Deena Rutter with a white background. It will be fun to see them together when they're all finished. I can't wait!
Anyone else working on Camille Roskelley's Puddle Jumping pattern? I'm seeing it all over instagram and am loving it! Speaking of instagram, I could follow quilters all day long, I love seeing what everyone is up to. Come say hi so I can follow you too! I'm @Loganquilts.
I'm linking up at Lee's WIP Wednesday.

These blocks are great! My MIL and I are the same way... we both LOVE many of the same blocks and patterns, but are drawn to quite different fabrics. ;)
