Vintage - Simply Retro

I have been working away at all the quilts in Camille Roskelley's new book Simply Retro, but had to take a break over the weekend to just be. As much fun as this has been to piece all these quilts, it has been a lot of work to get them done so quickly. Especially since I have been doing this in addition to all my machine quilting (and being a mom, of course). So this weeks quilt isn't finished, but at least it's on it's way to getting there.
The pattern is called Vintage and has been my favorite pattern since I got the book. I knew exactly what fabric I wanted to use as soon as I saw it. It's called Locally Grown by Andover Fabrics. And I was right, it is the perfect fabric and it's making the blocks turn out so cute!
You can see the chicks and eggs a little closer here. Aren't they so fun?
Here are a few of the other fabrics. I especially love the chickens on the green background. Maybe because I have chickens? I dunno, but that fabric alone sold me on this line. Not to mention the sheep and the goats and the baby chicks....you get it. Maybe I just need to move to a farm ;)
I'm linking up with: Lee @ Freshly Pieced and Jana Machado
