A couple of years ago my 26 year old son mentioned he wanted a set of calendar quilts like my set. At first I dismissed the idea because what kind of man really wants quilts? I thought he was just being polite saying nice things about my quilts to make me feel good. After a couple of requests and offering to pay me I began to think he was really serious. I decided to quilt the 12 calendar quilts for his Christmas gift this last season. It was so fun to see his excitement on Christmas morning when he opened his gift. I am really glad I made the quilts, it will be a gift that my son and his wife will enjoy for years to come.
